Mangosteen Juice - Natures Secret
If It's This Good, Why Haven't I Heard of it Before?
Chances are you probably hadn't heard much about the
mangosteen prior to these e-mails. It is interesting that
something this phenomenal, with so many health benefits,
has remained virtually unknown.
Even though a large part of the world hasn't heard about
it yet, the mangosteen has been utilized as a food and
also as a medicine in Southeast Asia and China for
centuries. It has been transplanted and put into Central
and South America, India and the Caribbean where it is
also used as a food and as medicine.
All of these areas have used this fruit and have developed
an enormous folk medicine repertoire for diabetes,
diarrhea, inflammation, eczema, urinary disorders, fever,
and menstrual problems to name a few.
Now stay with me here. This is where
it starts to get real exciting.
Scientists in various universities around the world became
curious about these claims, which had obviously been
validated by observing people who were ill. Scientists
wanted to know how it was that the mangosteen was able to
do all this.
They were interested in finding out how the mangosteen
worked, and subsequently, 40 studies were published.
There are many, many more that were not published. (I'll
give you links to a number of these studies below.)
Let's take a look at what these studies are showing about
mangosteen, and why it is important to every person who
values their health.
"If you were to only be able to choose to take
one thing in terms of supplementation, you should
take mangosteen. No questions asked." - Dr. J.

The Science Behind
the Mangosteen's Health Benefits
Much has been made over the recent scientific studies
performed on the mangosteen fruit.
In fact, one of the leading mangosteen researchers
(a professor in Asia) was recently recruited by Pfizer
(yes, that Pfizer) and is no longer
allowed to even discuss his research on the mangosteen due
to a non-disclosure agreement.
Why would the
world's fastest-growing major pharmaceutical company, the one FortuneŽ magazine ranked #14 on list of
"World's Most Admired Companies," be so interested in
the mangosteen fruit?
Predictions are being made that within the next few years
the world will see as many as five new medications based
on the mangosteen fruit - mostly due to its strong
anti-inflammatory properties.
One recent study [1] confirmed that gamma mangostin, a
xanthone derivative found in the mangosteen, is a potent
COX inhibitor. This is an important factor in reducing
inflammation, pain, and fever.
*It's important to keep in mind that the laboratory
studies referenced are all independent. No company
with any interest in the marketing of the mangosteen has
been involved as a sponsor of any study.
The independent labs that have undertaken investigations
were motivated solely by the amazing claims made for the
mangosteen as a folk remedy. This means there isn't any
commercial bias or contamination of the data. The
majority of the research has been performed within the
past five years.
